Lake Powell

We went to Lake Powell July second to the eighth. It was Such a fun Vacation!  We even got to celebrate Asher's 3rd Birthday there.  That morning we all went around the room and each person said what they loved about Asher. some of them were... A good friend, kind to everyone, always happy and cheerful, good at sharing. Asher is a ray of sunshine and happiness. She is always kind even when others are not kind to her. She has the cutest laugh. She loves both of her sisters to death. We are so happy Asher is in our family. We love her so much. The kids had a blast playing in the water, boat rides, going on the tube, riding on seedoo's, going off the slide and being with their cousins. It was the perfect temp. not too hot. we were able to relax and just do whatever we felt like. I love the water and sun. The girls all love to be in the water and in the sand playing. Amme surfed with Daddy. Even though she was not too happy about it she still did it. On the way there our truck was messed up because of bad gas so we had to take it to the shop. we picked the truck up on our way out of town and were having the same problems. Everyone else went on home and we stayed there and had to have someone look at it the next morning. He was not able to fix it so we had to drive to St. George to a dealership and have them fix it. We got there at 7 p.m. so, we had to stay the night and wait for them to work on it the next morning. We happened to see Mindy and Steve Mciff at dinner that night so they said they would pick us up and chill with us the next day. We all went over to their house and swam and ate. It was really fun. What a blessing that was. Heavenly father is always watching over each of us.  About 5 p.m. The car was fixed and we made it home safely. This little set back was a good thing for our family we  were able to bond and become a little closer. Shawn and I listened to marriage talks which were really good and uplifting. I am grateful for the things heavenly father knows I need and for him continually watching over my family.
